As The Colonials prepare for the 2010-2011 season, the coaching staff encourages interested skaters to join The Colonials. There remain limited roster openings on several of our teams. The Colonials will have teams skating in the Beginner, Preliminary, Intermediate, Novice, Adult and Open Adult divisions for the 2010-2011 season. If you are interested in skating with The Colonials, please contact us to arrange a time to skate with the coaches!! The Colonials maintain structured, cost competitive and skater focused teams representing the Colonial Figure Skating Club, drawing skaters from across New England. All practices take place at our home rink, The Nashoba Valley Olympia in Boxborough, MA Please feel free to contact us at synchro@colonialfsc.com The Colonials wish to congratulate Amanda Werner on her appointment as Head Coach of the University of New Hampshire Synchronized Skating team!! In addition to her role with UNH, Amanda will continue in her current capacity with The Colonials as a member of the coaching staff leading several teams to success in the 2010-2011 season. The Colonials are excited to see Amanda in a position to continue to promote the sport of synchronized skating at the collegiate level. The staff of The Colonials continue to be recognized for their accomplishments and credentials as successful leaders both on and off the ice. The UNH Synchronized Skating team is a club sport competing in the Collegiate Division of USFSA. The full UNH press release is available here. The Colonials will hold tryouts for The Colonials Open Adult Friday, August 6, 2010 from 9:15 – 10:15 at NVO. Please arrive 30 minutes prior – Tryouts are FREE! The Colonials and The Colonial Figure Skating Club would like to Congratulate The Colonials Adult team for their performance at the 2010 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Minneapolis, MN this weekend. The team skated beautifully and it was a real accomplishment to see how much the team has improved since its creation just six months ago. We can’t wait until next year!!
