Colonials Coach

Carrie Heath is one of the three new coaches with the Colonial Synchronized Skating Program this upcoming 2009-2010 season. She grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where she skated for the Kalamazoo Synchronized Skating Teams for nine years. She then skated one season for the Gems on Ice out of Plymouth, Michigan and one season for the Ann Arbor Hockettes, in which she helped her team win a Junior National Championship in 2005. Carrie then skated for Miami University’s Senior Varsity Synchronized Skating Team for four years, winning two National Championships (2006, 2009) and was a member of the history-making 2007 World Silver Medalist team, in which Miami University became the first U.S. team to ever podium at the World Championships.
She graduated from Miami in May 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.
Along with her synchronized skating accomplishments, Carrie is a triple gold medalist in freestyle, moves in the field, and dance.
Carrie joined the Colonial coaching staff in May 2009.
